Max started as a “financial representative” intern in early 2010 where he quickly fell in love with financial planning. He moved into a full-time position in early 2011 and has been a financial planner ever since. He founded Kaizen Planning & Wealth Management located in Scottsdale Arizona in 2023 and is leader in the organization where he helps with leadership, recruiting as well as training and development of new advisors at the firm.

Max attended Arizona State University and completed his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at WP Carey School of Business, Bachelor of Science in Management at WP Carey School of business, as well as his International Business Certificate and Small Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate in 3.5 years. He was nominated the Outstand Graduating Senior for his graduating class and elected the Outstanding Graduating Senior for the Management Department graduating with over a 4.0 GPA. Max takes pride in being a lifelong learner and enjoys ongoing financial education through additional professional designation programs.

Max serves as a leader in the business and philanthropic community. He began working with non-profits in high school where he started a affinity group to bring students together that sold shirts and raised/donated over $2,000 for SARRC. While at ASU he did consulting for SARRC and Autism Speaks, his work drew 4,000+ students to their annual “Walk Now for Autism”. After college, he’s been involved in the Phoenix 20-30 Club since 2013, the oldest philanthropic club in Arizona founded in 1932, serving on their board in 5 different elected positions and is currently the Past-President. He has raised over $250,000 for charities during his duration in the club and over $80,000 during the 2022-2023 club year. In-part under his leadership they’ve raised a record $1,000,000+ for its benefactors during his fiscal year as President, nearly double their highest previous record. He serves as a mentor to new members to help empower them to get more involved in the community and raise more and more money for organizations serving children in Arizona. Max is also a “Big Brother” through Big Brothers Big Sisters Arizona to a 13-year-old boy named Calvin.
